Our family

We, the Mayr-Monsagrati family, have been entertaining guests from all over the world for twelve generations. Our inspiring principles, which we have always upheld, are a personal quality of care, unconditional hospitality, and the aim to give our guests the highest level of quality and service possible. Attention to detail and striving for perfection are the key qualities we look for when hiring our highly valued personnel, as well as when working with business partners and suppliers. Depending on the season, our fruit, vegetables, milk and partially our meat all come from our two own farms. Our bacon and house sausages are also made from a family recipe that comes from 1616, and we take the same care here in the preparation, curing, and hanging as we did 400 years ago.

Quality is simply attention to detail built up over many years! We, the family Mayr-Monsagrati, looking back on our long history recognise that the world nowadays seems to be turning faster and faster, and so, remembering the ceaseless passing of time, we turn to face the future strengthened by the calm power of the past.
